So normally I don’t go to the museum in my home town but there was nothing else to do with Covid-19 everything was closed and I really wanted go out and post something so here it is.

There was a big wolf there and I shook because I was so scared and it messed up the picture sorry about that.

The museum was pretty cool for a little town museum actually I think it was awesome. It was all about the wildlife and the native things to.

I love drawing. The wolf I was drawing looked like the other big one at the start.

Beside the drawing table there was a big picture frame that I didn’t see before it’s pretty cool for taking pictures.

There was also giant birds and huge eggs to. At first I thought they were not real but they are.

Downstairs there was a lot pictures like the ones behind me and the benches down there were so comfy I wanted to sit there all day.

I am sorry I haven’t been posting much lately but I’m hoping that I can give you a long update on what I have been doing in my normal life. And it will start right now. Ok so I haven’t actually been doing much but the skiing season has been weird I went to a skate ski weekend and the coach was meant to teach us things about skate skiing but I had to social distance from my friends in the club house which was very annoying.

Also I the party’s have not been amazing because of the coronavirus so there actually aren’t any party’s which means that we just send presents to each other or drop them off at houses.

My dad went for a walk this morning and he said that he fell in the snow He took a picture of himself in the snow for me here it is.

It’s pretty funny but he came back all snowy and had a hot chocolate by the fire place. He was very cold so we watched TV together for the rest of the morning but then lunch was ready, yummy!

I’ve decided to make updates where I tell you about what’s going on with me and my family. Before I start I need to tell you the names of my siblings and my friends. So from left to right there’s: my friend Jack, my sister Snowy, of course myself, my brother Max, my dad big cuddles and my sister Brownie and that’s all of them so now I’ll get started.

I ordered a warm pair of mitts but they were way too big but they will keep my paws nice and warm in winter.

I love shower curtains but this one is my favourite, a sloth riding a unicorn and you can’t see it in the picture but it’s holding a pizza and it’s wearing underwear.

I went to Jasper with my friend Jack this fall to go hiking in the mountains.

We went hiking on a trail that ran along the Athabasca River and there were lots of trees to climb.

We hiked to Angel Glacier and had lunch at the lookout.

We had a look at the beautiful blue green glacier fed lake and then went back down the trail.

For our last hike in jasper we went up the Skytram and hiked up the mountain and at the top there were a lot of rocks so we tried climbing them.

I took some time to relax in Ushuaia and try some new sports and activities. My favourite activity was using the climbing wall.

The food was very different from the food I’m used to but some of it was really good. The rice dish is locro. It’s a traditional stew of meat and vegetables.

These are my favourite landscapes they all come from Torres del Paine park.

I saw lots of animals including guanacos, condors, birds of prey and lots of horses. The top bird is a southern crested caracara that sat nice and still while we took photos. The other bird is an Andean condor that we were lucky enough to see fairly close as we left El Chalten. It is a huge bird almost as tall as the fence.

We stopped at the milodon cave and there were giant metal animals shaped like the prehistoric animals that roamed the earth at the same time as the milodons.

We also found a chair shaped like a giant backpack in the middle of El Chalten.

Back in Ottawa we visited the Museum of Nature where there were lots of dinosaurs and other animal exhibits.

I headed over to the Atlantic coast so I could see some penguins. It was a really windy day but I saw lots of Magellanic penguins.

The penguins were awesome but I headed back west to the mountains. El Calafate was our next stop. It’s a fun town with a great ice cream shop.

The main reason for visiting El Calafate is to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. It’s huge and you can watch big pieces fall off.

I also went to a museum but I was lucky to get out alive as the dinosaur was hungry.

Next it was off to El Chalten and some spectacular mountains

I loved El Chalten because it has beautiful mountains and great food. I had a huge breakfast of waffles, my favourite, with nutella one day. The waffles were almost as good as the steak dinner I had one evening. It was a big meal for a little dog but I ate most of it.

After camping with a view of the smoking volcano in Parque Pumalin we moved to another campsite in the park. This time we had an amazing view of a glacier. In Spanish a glacier is a ventisquero.

Near the campsite we found an old plane in the bushes. We think it was a Douglas DC3 from the 1930s.

A little south we found Lago Yelcho a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. We camped here and hiked to one of the glaciers. The lake is very popular for trout fishing.

The hike was very muddy but the views of the glacier were amazing. The carretera is a spectacular road with new photo opportunities at every turn. The road swings towards the sea and as you know building sandcastles is one of my favourite activities so we had to stop.

We found an amazing campsite on the south side of Lago General Carrera with some great hammocks to relax in.

We started heading south and camped for a few nights at Parque National El Leoncito. I love my little tent.

El. Leoncito is in the desert in Argentina near San Salvador. The scenery is very different to the scenery I am used to in Canada. Very little vegetation and any vegetation we did find had long thorns. We did a long hike in the desert to the top of a hill. I had to stay close to the others as there were pumas in the park.

We continued south and crossed into Chile for Christmas before starting the Patagonia part of our trip. Patagonia is the southern part of South America and is partly in Chile and partly in Argentina. We drove south in Chile on the Carretera Austral a road built in the 1970s to connect a number of remote communities. Our first stop was Parque Pumalin where we climbed Volcan Chaitén.

Volcan Chaitén which is near the town of Chaitén exploded in 2008 covering the whole town in ash and debris. The town was evacuated but most people have now returned.

We could see the volcano smoking from our campsite.

We crossed the Andes mountains into northern Argentina. The mountains were really high and it was hard to breath at the top. On the way we passed the Salinas Grande. It’s a huge salt flat where they harvest most the salt for Argentina and Uruguay.

In northern Argentina there is a beautiful mountain with stripes of different coloured rock called Hornocal. The viewpoint was even higher than the pass from Chile to Argentina.

As we descended back into the valley we saw lots of cacti.

Further south we spend a few days in Salta where we took a cable car to the top of the big park in town.

Drove north from Santiago in to the Atacama Desert. I camped by the ocean it was very loud because of the waves.

I stopped by a giant hand in the middle of the desert. It was sooo big.

I went to a ghost town called Chacabuco. There was a old truck and there was a theatre.

Inside the theatre was really cool

I spent the first week in a small village in the Andes mountains called Las Vegas. It was about an hour outside Mendoza. I lived in an Airbnb for five days.

Outside there was a cactus and a rock family

There were two cats and a dog that I called Igley. The cats liked to sit on the window sill.

On the way back to Santiago we stopped near Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the americas.

I’m off for my big trip. Leaving Fort Smith and heading to Whitehorse for a few days before going to Ottawa.

Quite a bit of snow in some places on the road. I love to sit on the dash so I get the best view.

Waffles for breakfast are my favourite. This hotel had a machine where you could make your own waffles.

We saw lots of wildlife on the road including this herd of caribou.

After a couple of weeks in Ottawa we were on our way to Santiago, Chile.

This giant penguin in Toronto airport was hungry but he prefers fish to stuffies so I talked him out of an early dinner.

First beautiful sunset over South America

I drove to Yellowknife in August with some friends stopping in Hay River on the way. We walked out onto the beach and built some sandcastles.

I had one last day in Paris so I relaxed in a bar beside the Seine before catching the train with my friend Hamley.

Today I took the train to Versailles.

I walked from the station to Versailles. When I got there I went inside and l saw the king and queens chambers.

After that I went outside and walked around the gardens. In the gardens there was a big lake where I rented a boat.

Our second day in Paris and we set of after breakfast to see the sights. The first adventure was the metro. They had great chairs on the platform to wait for the train.

One of our first stops was a boat trip along the Seine before heading to Jardin Luxembourg. There’s a big pond where you can rent model sailing boats. You set your boat off across the pond and as the wind brings it close the the shore you turn it around and set it off again.

We got to Paris early this morning and after a quick nap set out to walk to the Eiffel Tower. It was a long walk but fun to see all the different buildings. As we got close to the tower we found big barricades and lots of police. There were crowds of people looking at the tower so we asked what was going on. We found out that the tower had been closed for the afternoon because someone had tried to climb up the outside. We did get close enough to get one photo.
